Senior Account Manager

• Ensuring effective delivery of projects within portfolio
• Advising on and executing effective communication strategies on time and within budget
• Liaising with media, politicians and community groups
• Supporting new business proposals and presentations
• Attending client meetings
• Responsibility for organisation of public exhibitions and stakeholder events, political and stakeholder research, drafting letters, press releases, newsletters and exhibition boards and maintenance of accurate databases
• Building client relationships and identifying opportunities to deliver additional support
• Managing Account Executives and Account Managers within project teams
• Contribute to marketing efforts of team and wider business

• Political, media or communications background with experience operating in this field
• Good understanding of how various levels of government work at both local and national levels
• Strong writing and inter-personal communication skills
• Experience maintaining and growing a portfolio of key clients
• Team management experience, supporting development of junior team members
• Demonstrate drive, commitment and focus to producing work of the highest standard
• Excellent workload management and a good team player
