We are looking for a Senior Account Manager based in Toronto to present our advertising solutions to the largest consumer goods manufacturers in the world. The positions are unique sales roles within Marketing & Advertising Sales. As a Senior Account Manager at The Brand Power Company, you will work with North America's leading consumer goods manufacturers and marketing executives. You will bring your knowledge of networking, sales management and marketing in TV, digital and social media to your daily work. This is a new vacancy.
Job Responsibility:
Use some of your existing contacts in the market to generate meetings with prospective clients around North America
Networking at a high level, getting to know our current clients while finding potential new ones
Setting up meetings with top-tier CPG, FMCG, and OTC companies across North America to educate them about our platforms and how they can serve their business, using various tactics such as e-mail, telephone, LinkedIn etc.
Use our pretty cool online CRM tools (salesforce.com) to maintain detailed information on contacts, accounts, meetings, and opportunities
Work effectively with multiple internal departments to sell, execute, and manage campaigns (i.e. creative and production teams)
Research and manage potential leads and prospects through LinkedIn and industry database subscriptions to understand market dynamics and key players
Use your industry knowledge to establish areas of opportunity with potential clients
Become an expert in product categories and advertising best practices in order to persuade marketers to consider The Brand Power Company's tools
Use the skills you develop to close business with new clients
Build strong relationships with existing clients to grow book of business
Prepare quotes for qualified prospects and opportunities
Prioritize and organize the sales pipeline for maximum efficiency on a daily basis
Requirements:
5-7 years of relevant sales experience working in any industry (CPG experience preferred)
University Degree (Business or Marketing preferred) or relevant experience
High levels of initiative, self-motivation, and time management
Competitive and ambitious nature, demonstrating a strong aptitude for sales
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills
Ideal candidates will be mobile and open to an opportunity to live and work in a different country if desired at some stage in the future
Must have legal work rights in Canada to be considered for this position
