As a Senior Account Manager at Airwallex, you will own and grow a portfolio of high-potential SMB and mid-market customers. You’ll help customers scale their businesses by maximizing the value they get from the Airwallex platform, while driving expansion through thoughtful, consultative engagement. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-velocity environment, balancing strategic account ownership with hands-on execution, and turning product usage into measurable business impact.
Job Responsibility:
Own and manage a portfolio of strategic, high-revenue accounts, driving retention, expansion, and long-term customer value
Mentor and support junior Account Managers, providing guidance on account strategy, deal execution, and customer engagement best practices
Serve as a subject-matter expert on the Airwallex platform, advising customers on best practices and tailored solutions aligned to their business goals
Lead complex expansion and cross-sell motions within existing accounts, identifying and converting new revenue opportunities
Conduct executive-level, consultative discussions with senior and C-level stakeholders, clearly articulating business value and ROI
Develop and execute account plans, including growth strategies, stakeholder mapping, and success metrics
Partner closely with Product, Solutions Engineering, Support, and Compliance to deliver a seamless and high-impact customer experience
Leverage data, insights, and customer feedback (QBRs, usage analysis, surveys) to proactively identify risks and opportunities
Act as a senior point of escalation for customer issues, ensuring timely resolution and sustained trust
Requirements:
Customer-first mindset with a bias toward action and measurable outcomes
5+ years of proven success in B2B software sales or account management within a SaaS, Fintech, or technology environment
Proven track record of driving expansion revenue across a portfolio of accounts in a high-velocity environment
Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to clearly articulate value to founders and business leaders
Experience managing multiple accounts with competing priorities while consistently hitting growth targets
Self-motivated, organized, and execution-focused, with the ability to operate independently
Nice to have:
Experience in fintech, payments, or financial services
Experience using Looker or other data visualization/analytics tools
Working proficiency in French
