A key member of the team utilising commercial awareness and project management skills in delivery of exceptional communications and engagement services to clients in planning and development sector. At heart of account and client relationship, delegating work appropriately to Executives effectively managing upwards to Directors.
Job Responsibility:
Ensuring effective delivery of projects within portfolio
Advising on and executing effective communication strategies on time and within budget
Liaising with media, politicians and community groups
Supporting new business proposals and presentations
Attending client meetings
Responsibility for organisation of public exhibitions and stakeholder events, political and stakeholder research, drafting letters, press releases, newsletters and exhibition boards, maintenance of accurate databases
Building client relationships and identifying opportunities to deliver additional support
Managing Account Executives and Account Managers within project teams
Contribute to marketing efforts of team and wider business
Requirements:
Political, media or communications background with experience operating in this field
Good understanding of how various levels of government work at both local and national levels
Strong writing and inter-personal skills
Experience maintaining and growing a portfolio of key clients
Team management experience supporting development of junior team members
Demonstrate drive, commitment and focus to producing work of the highest standard
Excellent workload management and a good team player
