As a Senior Account Manager/Business Development Manager – Netherlands, you will be responsible for managing and growing some of our most critical partnerships in mobile paid parking, and for expanding our parking garage offerings within our parking apps. You will operate at the intersection of key account management, new business acquisition, and strategic growth, combining strong commercial intuition with a data-driven, structured approach and leadership skills to successfully implement projects within the organization and meet the agreed-upon expectations of partners and customers.
Job Responsibility:
Strategic partnership management: Ownership and management of our largest mobile paid parking partnerships, from acquisition to long-term relationship management
Central point of contact for your partners, including regular business reviews
Negotiate commercial terms, extensions and expansions in collaboration with the Country Director, Legal and Finance
Hands-on involvement in forecasting and ongoing pipeline reviews
Parking garage acquisition: Acquiring parking garage locations (from municipalities and private operators) to expand the EasyPark network
Building and managing a strong pipeline
Leading the entire commercial process: prospecting, approach, negotiations, contracting, onboarding and handover to operations
Insight into local parking dynamics, operator economics and the competitive landscape
Cross-functional working within a global matrix organization
Market analysis & strategic growth: Analyze local market context, performance data, and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities, structural challenges, and white spots in coverage or monetization
Developing data-driven strategic plans
Building compelling, factual business cases and storylines to create internal and external support
Requirements:
At least a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Marketing or a related field
8+ years of experience in account management, business development, strategic partnerships and consultative sales
Experience in managing large, complex partnerships
Ability to develop clear, data-driven strategies and align them with internal and external stakeholders
Comfortable advising and influencing C-level stakeholders at clients
Experience with acquisition and collaboration with municipalities is a plus
Demonstrable success in new business acquisition and commercial negotiations
Experience in SaaS, mobility, parking, payments, marketplaces, digital hardware or similar sectors
You quickly understand dynamics and the underlying value and performance drivers of our company
You combine a charismatic, authentic appearance with a deep, detail-oriented curiosity about market dynamics, processes and data
Strongly data-driven: comfortable with analyses, business cases and strategic pitches
Able to translate data into clear, compelling recommendations for senior stakeholders
Excellent commercial and negotiation skills
Structured, proactive and able to manage multiple initiatives in parallel
Experience with CRM (e.g. Salesforce) and data insight tools such as Looker
Fluent Dutch and professional command of English are required
