Job Description

ActiveCampaign is seeking a Senior Account Executive, Franchise to become a vital member of our team and spearhead the expansion of ACHQ—the most comprehensive franchise marketing platform available today. In this role, you won't just be managing a standard sales pipeline; you'll be at the forefront of a major company initiative, using your creative and entrepreneurial spirit to drive brand awareness and expand the ACHQ footprint amongst franchise businesses. As we scale this specialized business unit, you will act as a strategic partner to prospects and internal teams alike, bringing forth innovative ideas to challenge the status quo and drive us forward. Your primary mission is to aggressively increase market share within the franchise space by uncovering core business problems and delivering impactful, high-value solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage a strategic book of business consisting of core ICP accounts, including mapping target brands, analyzing verticals, and utilizing account tiering to deeply understand a business's structure and platform fit
  • Self-source high-fit accounts from the ground up, identifying and engaging prospects that perfectly align with our core value proposition
  • Execute daily outbound prospecting initiatives to build a healthy, net-new business pipeline, leveraging creative and unconventional outreach strategies to break into target accounts
  • Conduct deep discovery utilizing the Sandler sales methodology to uncover core business problems, quantify their impact, and architect tailored solutions
  • Manage the full sales cycle of complex deals, partnering closely with internal cross-functional stakeholders to embrace a 'team selling' mindset and push opportunities across the finish line
  • Engage with prospects and partners both virtually and in person at relevant industry forums and networking events to expand the ACHQ footprint
  • Collaborate daily with your immediate teammates to foster a 'win as one' culture, driving collective success across the unit
  • Share weekly innovative ideas with the team, actively analyzing what unique strategies were attempted, measuring the results, and iterating on successful outcomes

Requirements

  • 4–6+ years of quota-carrying experience in a SaaS solution-selling environment, with a proven track record where the majority of your quota attainment was driven by outbound-sourced pipeline
  • 1–3+ years of specialized experience selling directly into franchise or multi-location businesses, demonstrating a deep understanding of the unique dynamics of this industry
  • Proven experience selling into the Mid-Market/Commercial segment, with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex business structures
  • Familiarity with Sandler or Challenger sales methodologies, and a strong preference for working with a 'book of business' approach to outbound selling
  • A strong knowledge of the email & online marketing space, allowing you to act as a consultative subject matter expert from day one
  • An entrepreneurial, self-motivated mindset with a 'go-getter' attitude and a driven approach toward consistently achieving new revenue goals
  • Proven consultative sales solution skills, with the ability to maintain a high level of productivity and manage multiple competing priorities under tight time constraints in a fast-paced, complex environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to quickly build trust, relate to diverse stakeholders, and establish strong working relationships with internal cross-functional partners
  • A highly coachable attitude, with an eager desire to learn, grow, and continuously share feedback to elevate the entire team

What we offer

  • Comprehensive Health & Wellness: Top-tier benefits package that includes a fully-covered High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP), complimentary access to telehealth services, and a free subscription to Calm
  • Growth & Development: Access to LinkedIn Learning, professional development programs, and career growth opportunities in a fast-growing organization
  • Generous Paid Time Off: Recharge and take the time you need to maintain work-life balance with open PTO
  • Total Rewards: Generous 401(k) matching with immediate vesting, quarterly perks with commuter and lunch benefits for hub based employees or a stipend for remote workers, and a four-week paid sabbatical with bonus after five years
  • Collaborative Culture: Work alongside brilliant, passionate colleagues in an environment that values innovation, teamwork, and mutual support
