Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior ABL Portfolio Specialist to build and maintain relationships with a portfolio of asset-based revolver credit facilities, monitor customer reporting, and provide credit recommendations among other responsibilities. The role involves collaboration with peers, partners, and senior management, a focus on compliance, and involvement in portfolio risk management.

Job Responsibility:

Build and maintain relationships with a portfolio of assigned new and existing customers with asset-based revolver credit facilities
Demonstrate sound judgement and credit skills required to effectively monitor weekly and monthly customer collateral and financial reporting
Utilize communication skills to share relevant information with coverage partners, peers and senior management internally
Review and analyze basic business, operational, or financial trends
Utilize information to make sound credit recommendations and solutions
Participate or provide support to review and analyze moderately complex companies and for key issues related to cash flow, liquidity, leverage, working capital, debt coverage, collateral and enterprise value analysis, and repayment sources, including for use in periodic reviews as well as interim underwriting memorandums
Present recommendations for resolving moderately complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Partner with senior peers within the context of individual deals and client relationships to develop inquiries or identify gaps to support the understanding of clients’ businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions to identify and execute on opportunities for modifications, renewals, and refinancings
Participate in regular portfolio reviews to manage risk and provide support to portfolio issues, where applicable
Collaborate and consult with senior peers and functional partners to resolve client servicing requests and inquiries.

Requirements:

4+ years of secured or specialized lending relationship management or portfolio management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
3+ years of experience in asset base lending relationship management OR lending portfolio management
Commercial credit underwriting experience
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics or Finance
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels
where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
Energetic, quick learner, positive attitude, and self-motivated
Ability to work independently and organize and manage multiple priorities
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information.
