Senior 3 Waters Engineer. Ready to step into a role where you can genuinely influence projects, people, and direction? We’re working with a growing water team looking for a Senior 3 Waters Engineer to take on a true 2IC position. A mix of hands-on delivery, leadership, and input into how the team moves forward. You’ll be joining a well-regarded, relationship-driven consultancy with a strong track record across NZ infrastructure, known for being practical, collaborative, and easy to work with. The role: You’ll be across the full lifecycle of projects, from early-stage thinking through to delivery, while also playing a key part in how the team operates and grows.
Job Responsibility:
Leading delivery of water infrastructure projects from concept through to construction
Acting as Project Leader - managing scope, programme, budget, and quality

Relevant engineering qualification (CPEng ideal)
Full working rights in New Zealand
What we offer:
A true 2IC position — real influence over decisions and direction
Opportunity to shape the growth of the team
Varied project pipeline, from smaller jobs through to larger multidisciplinary work
Clear pathway toward future shareholding
Supportive, down-to-earth team environment
Flexible working, good balance, and ongoing development support
