Job Description

We have the opportunity for a SENDco to join our amazing Northwich campus on a full time, permanent basis.

Job Responsibility

  • Leading a fantastic team of 6-10 teaching assistants and higher-level teaching assistants
  • leading and delivering interventions
  • driving strategic growth for all students with SEND

Requirements

  • Experience of working with children with a wide range of SEND
  • experience of leading provision strategically across a school to raise standards of achievement for children with SEND
  • Qualified Teacher Status (with at least 4 years' experience)
  • NASENCO or NPQSENCo qualification
  • experience of working with students with complex learning needs, such as Prader Willi Syndrome, Down Syndrome and Kabuki Syndrome, as well as students who are working three or more years below their chronological age

Nice to have

experience working with students who are nonverbal or preverbal
