Job Description:

SEND Teaching Assistant – Specialist School Supply Cover. A well-established specialist SEND school in Winchester is seeking reliable SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of needs including Autism, SEMH and complex learning difficulties. Due to increased demand, the school is looking to expand its pool of trusted supply staff who can step in to support classes when needed. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy variety, flexibility and working across different SEND environments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs
  • Working across different classrooms and age groups
  • Providing 1:1 support for pupils with EHCPs
  • Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Assisting teachers with learning activities

Requirements:

  • Experience working with SEND pupils
  • DBS on the Update Service
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training
