Job Responsibility

Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils within the resource provision, using communication tools and visual schedules to facilitate learning
Assisting the teacher in adapting learning materials and managing the classroom environment to ensure it remains a safe and highly supportive space
Helping students develop their social skills, emotional regulation, and communication independence during structured lessons and break times
Monitoring, tracking, and recording student progress, boosting their self-esteem, and strictly adhering to all safeguarding protocols

Requirements

Full eligibility to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available for this role)
An enhanced DBS check on the update service, or a willingness to undergo a new check via Randstad
Previous experience working with children with special educational needs within the UK (specific experience with speech and language difficulties or autism is highly desirable)
