Job Description

Justteachers are looking for a enthusiastic SEN Teacher Assistant, supporting across KS3 in a pioneering SEND school in Lymm. Join a dedicated team at an specialist school, supporting children aged 4–19 with diverse SEND needs. The role is to help create an inclusive, empowering learning environment where every child can thrive.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver tailored support to students with additional needs within a dedicated provision setting
  • Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and effective behaviour strategies
  • Drive a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and the SENCO to provide targeted interventions
  • Offer consistent support for students’ social, emotional, and sensory needs throughout the school day

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience supporting children in SEND or targeted intervention roles
  • In-depth knowledge of SEND strategies and commitment to inclusive education
  • Ability to maintain a calm, consistent, and positive approach to learning and behaviour
  • Two or more recent, education based references within the last 2 years
  • legal right to work in the UK
