Job Description:

Do you have a passion for supporting children with additional needs? We are looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team in North Manchester (covering Bury, Rochdale, Oldham, and Moston) for consistent, full-time placements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing tailored support to pupils with autism (ASC), SEMH, or complex needs
  • Become a vital part of the school community, staying with your assigned student/class for the rest of the school year

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of UK-based experience in a SEND setting
  • Ideally Level 2 or 3 qualified with an understanding of individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Experience with PECS, Makaton, or de-escalation training (Team Teach) is highly desired
  • A willingness to commute to various school sites across North Manchester

Nice to have:
