Job Description

SEN Teaching Assistant | 1:1 Support | Local Secondary Schools. Location: Swindon & Surrounding Areas. Position: Full-Time, Long-Term (Term Time Only). Salary: £88.92 - £100 per day (Weekly Pay). Start Date: Immediate / Next Term. Are you passionate about neurodiversity and mental health? Job Responsibility

  • Work 1:1 to implement EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) targets using sensory breaks, visual timetables, and simplified tasks
  • Assist students in developing self-regulation skills and social confidence in a mainstream or resource-base setting
  • Work closely with the SENCO, parents, and external therapists to track progress and adjust support strategies
  • Ensure every student, regardless of their needs, feels safe, valued, and included in school life
