Job Description

Randstad Education is searching for a compassionate and resilient SEN Support Assistant to join our specialist teams in Lancing. This is a dedicated full-time opportunity for a professional who is passionate about removing barriers to learning and providing high-quality support to students with complex needs. Job Responsibility

  • Bespoke 1:1 Support: Provide a consistent and safe foundation for specific students, helping them navigate the school day
  • EHCP Implementation: Work directly with Education, Health and Care Plans to deliver personalized learning goals
  • Emotional Regulation: Use specialist de-escalation and behavioral techniques to help students manage their emotions and stay focused
  • Promoting Autonomy: Assist with social skills and personal care, always prioritizing the student's dignity and independence
  • Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work alongside SENCOs, therapists, and teachers to ensure a whole-child approach to support

Requirements

  • Proven history supporting learners with SEN (ASD, ADHD, or SEMH) is essential
