Job Description:

SEND TA – SEMH Support. A large, modern primary school in Bexhill – known for its highly structured behaviour systems and dedicated inclusion team – is seeking a resilient and proactive SEND TA to support pupils with SEMH across KS2. The school benefits from a full-time behaviour lead, a pastoral room equipped with sensory tools, and well-developed intervention programmes. The role is varied.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting children with emotional regulation difficulties
  • Using trauma-informed approaches
  • Running social skills and self-esteem interventions
  • Helping pupils reintegrate into class after crises
  • Support individual pupils
  • Run small nurture groups
  • Work alongside class teachers using de-escalation strategies
