Job Description

Role: SEND Teaching Assistant (Primary) at a friendly primary school in Bishops Stortford. You will support a child or small group with additional needs such as Autism (ASD), Speech and Language delays, or Global Developmental Delay (GDD).

Job Responsibility

  • 1:1 Learning: Provide tailored support during phonics, maths, and play-based activities
  • Sensory Support: Use 'Now & Next' boards and sensory breaks
  • Social Development: Help children learn how to play, share, and communicate
  • Care & Wellbeing: Assist with personal care or mobility if required

Requirements

  • Naturally Patient

  • Experience in a nursery, a school, or personal experience with SEND
