Job Description

Primary SEN Teaching Assistant | 1:1 Developmental Support. Position: Full-Time, Long-Term (Term Time Only). Salary: £88.92 - £100 per day (Weekly Pay). Start Date: Immediate / Next Term. Join our local primary network as an SEN Teaching Assistant and help every child find their 'voice' in the classroom.

Job Responsibility

  • Tailored 1:1 Support
  • Implement personalised learning journeys using Now & Next boards and sensory breaks
  • Facilitate social interaction and communication skills during play-based activities and phonics sessions
  • Work closely with the SENCO, class teachers, and external therapists to track milestones and adjust support strategies
  • Provide a safe, dignified environment for children, assisting with personal care or mobility needs where required (training provided)
