Job Responsibility

  • Providing tailored 1:1 support within the classroom and during break times
  • Implementing strategies outlined in the pupil's Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
  • Adapting learning materials to suit the child's specific needs and ability levels
  • Monitoring progress and providing feedback to the Class Teacher and SENDCo
  • Fostering a positive social environment and encouraging independence

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS: You must hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one through Randstad
  • Right to Work: Full eligibility to work in the UK is essential
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children (ideally within a SEND or school setting)
  • References: Ability to provide professional references covering the last two years
