Job Description:

Justteachers are seeking a committed and nurturing Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join a cutting‑edge SEND school based in Winsford, Cheshire. This innovative provision offers tailored support to pupils aged 4–16 with a wide variety of special educational needs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver tailored support to students with additional needs within a dedicated provision setting
  • Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and effective behaviour strategies
  • Drive a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and the SENCO to provide targeted interventions
  • Offer consistent support for students’ social, emotional, and sensory needs throughout the school day

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with children in SEND settings or within focused intervention roles
  • Strong understanding of SEND approaches and a dedication to fostering inclusive learning environments
  • Able to maintain a calm, steady, and positive manner when supporting learning and managing behaviour
  • Must meet the minimum experience, training or qualifications stated
  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK
