Send Teaching Assistant

• Support teachers in delivering personalised learning activities and lessons
• Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with additional needs
• Assist students with communication, emotional regulation, and independence skills
• Support classroom learning, practical activities, and community-based learning
• Help students during educational visits, work experience placements, and life skills activities
• Encourage positive behaviour and wellbeing in line with school policies
• Assist with preparing learning materials and classroom resources
• Monitor and record student progress under teacher guidance
• Support students with personal care where required
• Supervise students during lessons, breaktimes, dining, and offsite activities
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, care staff, and families
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment
• Attend training, meetings, and professional development sessions
• Assist with general administrative duties including photocopying and display preparation
• Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and behaviour support procedures at all times
