Send Teaching Assistant

• Providing 1:1 or small group support to students with a variety of SEND requirements (e.g., Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or physical disabilities)
• Assisting subject tutors in adapting lesson materials to meet individual learning plans
• Helping students develop social skills, independence, and confidence within a college setting
• Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback to the SEND Coordinator
• Ensuring a safe and inclusive environment by managing classroom behaviour effectively

• A genuine desire to support young people facing barriers to learning
• The ability to pivot your approach based on a student's immediate needs
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and parents
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
• Confirmed eligibility to work in the UK
• Two professional references covering the last 24 months

Previous experience working with SEND (in an educational or care setting)
