Impact: Support students with Autism (ASD), ADHD, and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs to achieve their unique academic and social milestones.
Job Responsibility:
Bespoke 1:1 Support: Provide a consistent and safe foundation for specific students, helping them navigate the school day
EHCP Implementation: Work directly with Education, Health and Care Plans to deliver personalized learning goals
Emotional Regulation: Use specialist de-escalation and behavioral techniques to help students manage their emotions and stay focused
Promoting Autonomy: Assist with social skills and personal care, always prioritizing the student's dignity and independence
Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work alongside SENCOs, therapists, and teachers to ensure a 'whole-child' approach to support
Requirements:
Proven history supporting learners with SEN (ASD, ADHD, or SEMH) is essential

A calm, 'unflappable' nature with the ability to act as a mentor during challenging moments
Level 2 or 3 TA qualification is preferred, but substantial relevant experience is highly valued
