Role: SEN Teaching Assistant, Location: Littlehampton, Salary: £93-£100 per day (12-week placement), Permanent Salary: £22,000-£23,500 per annum, Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:15 AM - 3:30 PM. Join a specialist Pupil Referral Unit in Littlehampton supporting primary and secondary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The setting provides a structured, safe, and nurturing environment for pupils who have struggled to access mainstream education. With a strong focus on emotional regulation, behaviour support, and personalised learning, the aim is to help students re-engage with education and rebuild confidence. Through small group learning, consistent routines, and a highly supportive staff team, pupils are encouraged to develop resilience, improve social skills, and achieve meaningful educational outcomes.
