Job Description:

Justteachers are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join a modern, well‑equipped SEND school in Flixton. This specialist provision supports children aged 4–16 with a broad spectrum of SEND needs, offering a highly inclusive and nurturing environment. The role is a short‑term, temporary position beginning immediately and running until April.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build strong, trusting relationships that nurture emotional wellbeing
  • Support pupils in developing emotional regulation, positive behaviour, and social skills
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to implement personalised support strategies
  • Assist with de-escalation and lead restorative conversations when needed
  • Help maintain a calm, safe, and nurturing school environment for all learners
  • maintaining clear and consistent communication with parents and carers regarding each pupil’s progress and overall wellbeing

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience supporting children in SEND or targeted intervention roles
  • In-depth knowledge of SEND strategies and commitment to inclusive education
  • Ability to maintain a calm, consistent, and positive approach to learning and behaviour
  • Two or more recent, education based references within the last 2 years
  • legal right to work in the UK
