SEND Teaching Assistant (SEMH) – Andover 📍 Andover, Hampshire 💰 £90–£100 per day 🕒 Full-time | Term-time This isn’t just a job — it’s a chance to change a young person’s story. We’re working with a specialist provision in Andover supporting pupils with SEMH needs and behavioural challenges. These are young people who need consistency, patience, and someone who won’t give up on them. What your role will look like: Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small, nurturing groups Helping students manage emotions and re-engage with learning Responding to challenging behaviour with calm, structured approaches Building strong, trusting relationships over time You’ll fit right in if you: Have SEND, care, youth work or behaviour support experience Stay calm under pressure (even on the tricky days) Are resilient, empathetic and genuinely committed

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small, nurturing groups

Requirements
