This role is ideal for those passionate about child development, neurodiversity, and mental health. You will support children with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASD), Global Developmental Delay (GDD), and Speech and Language challenges.
Job Responsibility:
Personalised 1:1 Support implementing tailored activities to meet EHCP targets
Sensory & Visual Learning utilising creative tools such as PECS, 'Now & Next' boards, and sensory breaks to reduce anxiety and promote engagement
Holistic Care supporting children with social skills, emotional regulation, and personal care needs
Collaborative Support working with Class Teacher and SENCO to create a safe, inclusive, and high-energy learning environment
Requirements:
Naturally Patient
Have Relevant Experience (school, nursery, healthcare, or personal lived experience with SEND)
Strong Communicator
Committed (enhanced DBS or willing to apply, dedicated to Safeguarding and child welfare)
