Job Description:

We are recruiting for a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist setting in Eastleigh supporting pupils with Autism and communication needs. This is a long-term opportunity within a well-supported environment, working with small class sizes and experienced staff.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting pupils with Autism on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Assisting with communication, routines and structured learning
  • Supporting emotional regulation and engagement
  • Working closely with teaching staff and therapists

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (child workforce)
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training
  • Right to work in the UK

Nice to have:

  • Has experience with Autism or similar needs
  • Is patient, consistent and able to build trust
  • Can adapt to individual learning styles
