Job Description

SEND Teacher – Full-time, daily supply from as soon as possible. These flexible opportunities are ideal for SEND Teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different primary, secondary and complex school settings in Trafford and the surrounding areas.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver tailored lessons to pupils with a range of special educational needs
  • Work closely with support staff and SENCOs to implement individual education plans
  • Create inclusive and engaging learning environments that promote progress and independence
  • Monitor pupil development and contribute to reviews and target setting
  • Collaborate with parents, carers and external agencies to support pupil outcomes
  • Uphold safeguarding and welfare standards at all times

Requirements

  • Holds QTS teaching qualification
  • Has recent experience teaching pupils with SEND in a primary school setting
  • Demonstrates strong understanding of a range of learning needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH
  • Is patient, adaptable and confident working with pupils with complex needs
  • Has a clear Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one
