Job Responsibility
Delivering tailored lessons to meet the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
Planning and adapting learning activities in line with EHCPs and individual support plans
Creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Managing behaviour effectively and supporting emotional regulation
Working closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and other professionals
Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress and development
Following school policies on safeguarding, behaviour, and health & safety
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (preferred)
Experience supporting or teaching pupils with SEND (essential)
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
