Job Responsibility:
Plan and deliver tailored learning for pupils with SEND, either in a specialist setting or through targeted support
Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including learning, communication, and emotional needs
Assess, monitor, and track progress against individual targets and EHCPs
Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, and external agencies
Create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment
Contribute to reviews, reports, and ongoing provision planning
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching pupils with SEND (mainstream or specialist setting)
Strong understanding of SEND strategies and inclusive practice
Ability to provide two school‑based or education‑related references
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
