Job Description:

Justteachers are looking for a enthusiastic SEN Teacher, teaching in a pioneering SEND school in Oldham. Join a dedicated team at an specialist school, supporting children aged 4–16 with diverse SEND needs. The role is to help create an inclusive, empowering learning environment where every child can thrive. the role is to start after the May half term holidays.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide high-quality teaching and support for pupils with diverse SEND needs
  • Design and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with individual learning plans
  • Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants, therapists, and the wider SEND team to ensure holistic support
  • Track pupil progress, contribute to EHCP reviews, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels respected and valued

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous experience working with children in a school or similar setting (essential)
  • Background in supporting students with SEND, including Autism, SEMH, and other additional needs
  • Ability to stay composed and patient when faced with challenging situations
  • Strong commitment to supporting children's learning and overall development
  • enhanced DBS including a children's barred list check and where applicable a vulnerable adults barred list check
