SEND Teacher

• Deliver learning to mainly KS3 students using a primary model
• Teach in classes of no more than 6 with at least 1 full time LSA to support
• Measure success by pupils’ progress in academic, social and emotional areas

• Qualified Teacher Status (required)
• Ability to teach a range of subjects (required)
• At least 1 year experience as a teacher (required)
• Experience of teaching children with SEN (desirable)
• Experience of teaching a primary-model curriculum in a mainstream or special school setting
• Skilled at engaging disengaged learners
• Ability to deliver learning to pupils with a diverse range of needs (ASC, trauma, social and emotional difficulties)
• Understands the importance of a therapeutic approach to education
