We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teacher to join a specialist school in Morden from September. This rewarding role involves teaching a Key Stage 2 class of pupils with Autism (ASD) and complex needs, helping to create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment where every child can thrive.
Job Responsibility
Teaching a Key Stage 2 class
Working with pupils with ASD and complex needs
Planning and delivering differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
Working collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and families
Requirements
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience working with SEND pupils, particularly those with Autism
Is passionate about inclusive education
Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills
Is patient, adaptable, and committed to achieving positive outcomes for pupils
Must have the right to work in the UK or hold a valid work visa
Provide suitable references for pre-employment checks
Hold an enhanced DBS on the Children’s Workforce (or Children’s & Adults’) update service, or be willing to obtain one
