Job Description:

A mainstream Primary School in the Crook area is seeking a dedicated SEND Specialist Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil, supporting their learning and development throughout the school day.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing 1:1 support tailored to the pupil’s individual needs
  • Assisting with learning activities, social skills, and personal development
  • Implementing strategies recommended by teachers, SENCO, and specialists
  • Promoting confidence, independence, and engagement in learning

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEND
