Job Description

Job Responsibility

  • Build strong relationships with learners, focusing on individual needs and challenges
  • Facilitate challenging conversations, maintaining respect and positive relationships
  • Advocate for mental health and build a supportive, inclusive community
  • Work closely with learners to identify personal and educational goals, creating tailored plans
  • Guide and inspire staff to effectively support learners, especially with mental health challenges
  • Oversee and direct staff to deliver best outcomes for learners
  • Manage individualised schedules for learners with exceptional attention to detail
  • Work with stakeholders (including OT, SaLT, and work experience partners) to address diverse needs
  • Demonstrate a flexible approach to lesson planning, individualised targets, and learner schedules
  • Think creatively to motivate and engage learners, ensuring progress aligns with long-term goals
  • Focus on preparing learners for next steps: further education, employment, or transitioning back to homes and communities
