Job Responsibility
Build strong relationships with learners, focusing on individual needs and challenges
Facilitate challenging conversations, maintaining respect and positive relationships
Advocate for mental health and build a supportive, inclusive community
Work closely with learners to identify personal and educational goals, creating tailored plans
Guide and inspire staff to effectively support learners, especially with mental health challenges
Oversee and direct staff to deliver best outcomes for learners
Manage individualised schedules for learners with exceptional attention to detail
Work with stakeholders (including OT, SaLT, and work experience partners) to address diverse needs
Demonstrate a flexible approach to lesson planning, individualised targets, and learner schedules
Think creatively to motivate and engage learners, ensuring progress aligns with long-term goals
Focus on preparing learners for next steps: further education, employment, or transitioning back to homes and communities
