Job Description

Justeachers are searching for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a thriving SEND High school in Alderley Edge. This specialist school supports children aged 11 to 18 with a diverse range of SEND needs, providing an inclusive and nurturing environment. This is a long term role.

Job Responsibility

Provide high-quality support for pupils with diverse SEND needs
Collaborate effectively with teaching staff, therapists, and the wider SEND team to ensure holistic support
Track pupil progress, contribute to EHCP reviews, and maintain accurate documentation
Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels respected and valued

Requirements

Demonstrated experience supporting children in SEND or targeted intervention roles
In-depth knowledge of SEND strategies and commitment to inclusive education
Ability to maintain a calm, consistent, and positive approach to learning and behaviour
Two or more recent, education based references within the last 2 years
