Job Description

We are currently recruiting a SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for a specialist school in Chessington supporting pupils with a wide range of additional needs and ability levels, including complex Autism and associated learning needs.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
  • Assisting with classroom learning and daily routines
  • Supporting communication, emotional regulation, and engagement
  • Providing personal care and PEG feeding support where required
  • Helping create a safe, positive, and nurturing learning environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience supporting individuals with PEG feeding
  • Experience within SEN schools, care settings, or support work is highly desirable
  • Must have the right to work in the UK or hold a valid work visa
  • Provide suitable references for pre-employment checks
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the Children’s Workforce (or Children’s & Adults’) update service, or be willing to obtain one
