Job Description

We are currently recruiting SEND Learning Support Assistants to work within a specialist school in Surbiton. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with a range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, communication difficulties, and complex learning needs within a nurturing and supportive environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Support students 1:1 and in small groups
  • Assist with learning activities across the classroom
  • Support communication, emotional regulation, and behaviour
  • Encourage independence, engagement, and confidence
  • Help maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
  • Work closely with teachers and wider school staff

Requirements

  • Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable individuals (SEND experience desirable)
