Job Description:

Are you a Psychology graduate eager to make a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? An ‘Outstanding’ primary school in Greenwich is looking to appoint a SEN & Wellbeing Support Mentor to join their inclusive and nurturing team from September 2025. This is the ideal long-term role for a graduate seeking hands-on experience working with a diverse range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social-emotional challenges.

Job Responsibility:

Support pupils with mild-to-moderate SEN across KS1 and KS2
deliver tailored academic and emotional interventions
help pupils develop confidence, emotional regulation, and independent learning skills

Requirements:

Degree in Psychology or related discipline (2:1 or above preferred)
passion for supporting children with additional needs
patient, resilient, and compassionate – able to build trust and rapport
strong communication and teamwork skills
prior experience with children (in school, clinical, or voluntary settings) is highly desirable

Nice to have:

Prior experience with children (in school, clinical, or voluntary settings)
ideal for aspiring Educational or Clinical Psychologists, SEN Teachers, or Therapists
