Job Description:

We are recruiting experienced, dedicated SEN tutors to provide high-quality, flexible, and tailored tuition across the area. If you are passionate about boosting student confidence and academic success following the UK National Curriculum, we want to hear from you.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver sessions in Maths, English, and/or Science (plus potential other subjects)
  • Work with students across all Key Stages, from Year 1 (KS1) to Post-16
  • Must follow the current UK National Curriculum
  • Provide individualised support focusing on core academic subjects, social development, and building self-esteem
  • Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) students is required
  • you must adjust approaches for inclusivity
  • Flexible sessions ranging from 1 hour up to 15 hours per week. each child it is 15 hours hours per week and the tutor can tutor 2 children a week (so max of 30 hours per week)
  • Opportunity for long-term, meaningful relationships with students

Requirements:

  • Proven Tutoring Experience: QTS (Qualified teacher status) Especially in Maths, English, and/or Science
  • Curriculum Knowledge: Strong grasp of the UK National Curriculum
  • SEN Experience: Demonstrated ability to support SEN students
  • DBS: Must hold a DBS check on the Update Service, or be willing to apply immediately
  • Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Hourly pay - £28-33 per hour
  • Flexible Working Hours to suit your lifestyle- 30 hours per week / 9am - 4pm (Mon - Fri)
