The Role SEN Trainee Tutor Location: Grinstead Lane, Sharpthorne, East Sussex Monday-Friday | 8:45am-5:00pm (4:30pm finish on Fridays) ... Job Responsibility
Deliver individualised 1:1 teaching sessions tailored to pupil needs
Support pupils with autism and communication needs using behaviourally based teaching approaches
Assist with sensory learning, life skills development and extracurricular activities
Monitor, record and track pupil progress
Support pupils during breaktimes, lunch periods and outdoor learning activities
Assist with personal care when required
Implement positive behaviour support strategies and individual behaviour plans
Help create engaging classroom resources and learning materials
Work closely with teachers, therapists and wider school staff
Participate in training, team meetings and ongoing professional development
