Job Description:

A vibrant and inclusive primary school in London (Bexley) is offering a unique opportunity for a Creative SEN Support Assistant to join their team full-time from September 2025. You'll support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and social-emotional needs through engaging, expressive, and tailored approaches.

Job Responsibility:

Support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and social-emotional needs through engaging, expressive, and tailored approaches
Work with children with Autism, speech & language needs, and emotional regulation difficulties
Incorporate creativity into learning and wellbeing support
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and the SENCO to create a nurturing environment

Requirements:

Degree in Art, Drama, Music, Psychology, Education, or related field
Interest in therapeutic pathways (e.g., art/play/drama therapy, counselling)
Creative, compassionate, and emotionally attuned
Ability to engage children through imaginative and sensory approaches
Team player with excellent communication skills
Open to training and reflection, with a passion for child development
