Sen teaching assistant

• Delivering targeted 1:1 and small group support within the classroom setting
• Maintaining student engagement and focus throughout lessons
• Adapting learning materials and communication styles to meet individual needs
• Assisting with emotional regulation and behaviour management strategies
• Providing support with personal care tasks as required
• Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs)
• Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers
• Creating a positive and supportive learning environment for students with SEN

• Proven experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• A confident and proactive approach to classroom assistance
• A valid Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Full-time availability (8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday)
• Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude

Experience working with children with Autism, ADHD, PMLD, and SLD is preferred
