Job Responsibility:
Delivering targeted 1:1 and small group support within the classroom setting
Maintaining student engagement and focus throughout lessons
Adapting learning materials and communication styles to meet individual needs
Assisting with emotional regulation and behaviour management strategies
Providing support with personal care tasks as required
Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs)
Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers
Creating a positive and supportive learning environment for students with SEN
Requirements:
Proven experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
A confident and proactive approach to classroom assistance
A valid Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Full-time availability (8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday)
Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
Nice to have:
Experience working with children with Autism, ADHD, PMLD, and SLD is preferred
