Job Responsibility:
Build warm, supportive relationships with students, helping them feel safe and engaged in their learning
Promote independence, personal development, and emotional well-being
Assist the Class Teacher in daily classroom management and adapting to the ever-changing needs of the students
Participate in the full range of school activities, with occasional physical intervention
Encourage the cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual development of students
Requirements:
Minimum GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4 or equivalent)
Ideally, a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (not essential but a big plus!)
Previous experience in a special school or SEN environment is highly desirable
