This school opened its doors in September 2025 in Surrey, and this is your chance to shape its culture and success from the very beginning. About the Opportunity: This isn't your average school setting. You will be part of a pioneering, highly supportive model designed for young people aged 11-16 who have needs related to social communication, emotional regulation, and sensory processing, often associated with Autism. Your role is crucial to the success of our students. You will be working in small classes with high levels of staff support and a multi-disciplinary intervention team (Therapists, Specialists, etc.).
Job Responsibility
Helping students with their learning, social development, and overall wellbeing
Implementing a tailored approach to positive behaviour management
Working closely with the teacher to deliver, adjust, and reinforce learning activities
Actively championing the welfare and positive wellbeing of all pupils
Providing meaningful feedback to the teaching staff on a student's progress, behaviour, and relationships
Requirements
GCSE Maths and English Grade 4 or equivalent
Good understanding of Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures
Resilience and adaptability
Nice to have
Previous experience in a SEND Provision or a setting working with young people
Experience in any multi-cultural or inclusive setting
