Job Description:

The top specialist school in the county is seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible to support learners with severe and complex learning difficulties, including Autism. Ideal candidates will enjoy working 1:1, in small groups, and whole-class settings through creative activities and outdoor education. This role requires availability Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, with permanent employment beginning in January 2024.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting learners on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, and within whole class settings
Assisting learners with severe and complex needs
Collaborating with the teacher to support learning objectives

Requirements:

Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
Relevant Teaching Assistant and SEN experience (desirable but not essential
must provide references)
Eligibility to work in the UK
A passion for supporting SEN learners with complex needs
