A leading primary school academy in Plymouth, Devon and Cornwall, specialising in special education, is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our inspiring team.

Job Responsibility

  • Assisting in the implementation of individualised learning plans
  • Providing direct, hands-on support to students within the classroom and various learning environments
  • Contributing to a positive and engaging atmosphere for all pupils

Requirements

  • Patience, empathy, and a genuinely positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team
  • A willingness to learn and adapt
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Familiarity with behaviour management techniques
