SEN Teaching Assistant

• Provide individual and small-group support to students with diverse special educational needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers to implement individualised learning plans
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment, assisting with behaviour management
• Support lesson preparation and actively participate in monitoring student progress
• Mentor and guide students, supporting them in achieving their academic and personal goals
• Assist in creating and maintaining a supportive and stimulating learning environment
• Participate in school events and activities
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and relevant information

• At least six months experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a UK school
• Demonstrated patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for supporting students with SEN
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with staff, students, and parents
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Current Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Relevant educational qualification (e.g., teaching assistant certificate or equivalent)
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills
