Job Description:

A brilliant opportunity has become available to join a lovely primary school in Wandsworth as a SEN Teaching Assistant in KS1 starting ASAP. This role is to start ASAP and is offered on a full-time contract until the end of the academic year (to July 2026).

Job Responsibility:

  • Working 1:1 with a child in Year 1 with Autism and associated needs
  • Supporting the child who often learns outside of the classroom
  • Supporting a personalised curriculum
  • Providing support particularly with phonics
  • Using a range of strategies to engage children
  • Offering clear expectations and a positive approach

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant within a school environment
  • A good understanding of supporting children with SEND
  • Be available to commit full time until July 2026
